Dave Clarke is a name of at least three artists:1) A simplification of David Maurice Clarke (b 19 Sep 1968, Brighton, England - aka Hardcore, Fly By Wire and Directional Force), a techno producer / DJ, who is often ascribed the status 'The Baron of Techno' He débuted with the single Hardcore's "I Like John" (1990, XL) and, excluding the "RAEX007 Dave Clarke - 20101112" interview, his latest is the album "Dave Clarke Presents Remixes & Rarities 1992-2005" (Nov 2006, Music Man)Clarke has a reputation as one of the world's best techno / electro DJs, though always an outsider: from his stormy 1980s childhood, to his tempestuous relationship with the media today As a fan of radio, Dave shares contemporary insights freely, on UK, Belgian, Turkish and Dutch radio (eg for 3VOOR12's 'Whitenoise')
